A Field of Colour.png

In this workshop you'll learn how to make your own inks from plants, food scraps and kitchen ingredients, then use these and other mixed media to explore different ways of drawing, inspired by the farm's landscape and crops.

Led by artists Kathy Ramsay Carr & Ione Maria Rojas, we'll explore how working with materials gathered from our immediate environment can deepen our relationship to place and play.

You'll be shown some easy-to-replicate ink recipes, then guided through a series of drawing exercises to open up new ways of looking and responding. You'll be given your own ink to take home with you, along with a recipe card, ideas and references for further art making.

No experience required, just a willingness to play!

£85, all materials included + tea, coffee & cake
